Small Brass Chapati Box

It's in the name; these vintage Indian brass chapati boxes were used to store and serve chapati flat breads at meal time. Their solid brass construction meant they could be placed in the oven ahead of meals to keep breads warm. As a decorative object, they're both beautiful and functional, and serve as an excellent piece on a coffee table, shelf, bedside or entry way table. Each piece is unique, and features its own distinctive patterns and patina.
