Traditional Tutsi Sickle on Stand - Rwanda

The Tutsi people of Rwanda have been farming with these sickles since migrating to the country in the 14th and 15th centuries. They are crafted from forged metal with a particularly interesting embellished alloy timber handle which is admired the world over for its art form.
